Warehouse Stocker

Job Summary:
The warehouse stocker is responsible for accurately, neatly and efficiently stocking and scanning all types of products into the warehouse as needed and assigned. The warehouse stocker also assists in correcting any stocking mistakes discovered, assists in the general housekeeping of the warehouse and assists in other duties as needed to effectively and efficiently serve the customers of the warehouse.

Job Responsibilities:
  • A warehouse stocker obtains and carries out daily assignments in a timely and efficient manner. This includes stocking or Scanning all products according to specified procedures, following all stocking procedures for specific product lines and following all Paint Stocking procedures accurately and safety including proper product rotation. A warehouse stocker also cleans up after each product line is completed and positions all overstock in the correct locations, clearly marked as specified.  
  • A warehouse stocker is part of the warehouse and APH team and, therefore, assists other team members as needed. A warehouse stocker straightens shelves, sweeps, re-boxes returns, completes tote placements and services other areas of the warehouse as appropriate and assists in other ways as assigned by the warehouse supervisor. 
  • A warehouse stocker represents Auto Value and the APH team in a professional and positive manner. A warehouse stocker’s appearance is professional and meets our customers’ expectations and the APH employee handbook. A warehouse stocker participates in internal and external training programs to learn more about our company, our processes and practices. A warehouse stocker maintains a calm, positive demeanor when working with employees and customers.
  • A warehouse stocker will be measured against the standards set for interaction with customers and co-workers, ability to follow company procedures, as well as the ability to accurately, neatly and efficiently stock and scan products into the warehouse.

  • A warehouse stocker spends a substantial amount of time working in the warehouse environment. There may be an occasional need to work in an office or store environment.
  • Physical Requirements:
    A warehouse stocker is continuously standing or walking. A warehouse stocker experiences frequent bending, stooping or stretching and frequently lifts up to 50 pounds and experiences a need for pushing/pulling movements. A warehouse stocker occasionally will experience the need for ladder or stair climbing. A warehouse stocker experiences an occasional need to work overhead at crown level and experiences frequent to continuous repetitive use of hands or grasping.
