Regional Store Manager

Job Summary:
As a Regional Manager in North Dakota you will have the opportunity to showcase your ability to lead a team of store managers, guiding them to provide amazing customer service. The Regional Store Manager is responsible for the performance of the stores in their region. This position will work with the Store Managers, Associates (co-workers), and Corporate Management to drive sales, ensure high levels of customer service, solve problems, and achieve employee development goals. This position will also perform various store duties on an as needed basis. Join our team and work in a fast-paced, friendly and positive work environment.

Job Qualifications:
  • Five or more years of experience managing in a retail/wholesale environment with at least 10 employees

  • Must have thorough knowledge of auto parts business and store operations

  • Average verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational skills and working knowledge of desktop computers, including such programs as Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Must possess and maintain a valid class D driver license and acceptable driving record

  • Must be able to work a flexible, 50 hour a week schedule

  • Must be willing to relocate to Central Minnesota if applicable

  • Travel is required

Job Responsibilities:
  • Creates a positive working environment that facilitates exceptional service and drives sales
  • Build customer relationships and employee engagement
  • Support store managers with recruitment efforts, selecting, orienting, and training employees
  • Coaches and counsel employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job performance.  Use the appraisal process to build motivation and commitment.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of store operation results in the region 
  • Ensures audit controls are followed to protect the company from unnecessary risk and exposure
  • Establishes and maintains proper expense controls to stay within budget and explain any significant variances
  • Ensures safety, health, and security policies are practiced and in place within the region
  • Perform various store duties on an as needed basis
